“lunch!” The message came via msn at our normal lunchtime.
After a few minutes, we were all (4 of us , including boss) gathered at the lift lobby and decided to have Bak Kut Teh that’s down Beach Road, opposite The Concourse.
Walk walk walk (*As we.. walk to the left, as we walk to the right. As we walk, as we walk, as we walk all night day*)
The shop was closed for business!!! *faints* Explored the area, and decided to walk further down the street to Beach Road hawker center @ Beach Road Gardens.
It was 1pm by the time we reached and found an empty table.
I was in queue for my food at 1pm. 15minutes later I was in front of this stall:
The muffins look sooooooooo tempting! Considering that I was already VERY hungry, I almost gave in to the temptation.
This stall’s muffins smell nice! Blueberry, Walnut, Coffee & Nut, Chocolate cheese.. the list goes on. Niceeeeeeeeeeeee! The serving is generous, and affordable too! $1.20 – $1.50 each, buy 5 get 1 free. Cheese muffins 4 for $5. Not too bad.
Check out the shop if you’re around the corner. Keke.. Stall Name: SLII Muffin #01-97
Pity this stall isn’t open for business yet. Else would have tried the Chocolate Fondue!!!
Time check. 1.25pm.
By this time, I’m not just hungry, but tired from the queueing as well.. Can’t believe I’m crazy enough to queue for food that has such a long long long long long long long long long queue..
This was what I was queueing for. Mansaku Japanese Food. #01-93
Yes yes this is the same stall that was in the recent episode of 排排站查查看 on CH8.
After 35mins in the queue..
See the people queueing? That’s how long the queue was when I first queued. And It hasn’t gotten any shorter.
Finally my food!! Looks good! Teriyaki Chicken Set, $4.50. Pretty generous serving. Tuck in!!
See the skin? It’s actually crispy! It’s good food and low price! The queue was pretty much worth I guess. But not when you’re in a rush of course =)
And yes.. we had to walk all the way back to Shaw Tower. 20min walk. LoL. On a hot and bright sunny afternoon. Free suntan. =X
