Quotes!

Was reading Jiawen’s blog and found interesting quotes. Went to disturb her and she gave me this link instead.

Love this quote she gave me:
do you believe in love at first sight or do you want me to walk pass you again?

finally…

Finally lived this design. Spent quite sometime inserting those links. =|

Orangy theme, something different from the piano theme you’ve seen from day 1 sunshine is lived 3 years ago. Wah… I’ve been blogging for 3 years+?? Amazing how I can keep this interest alive, knowing that usually my interest in anything lasts for only 3 mins sometimes.

It had been a long way for me here. Started blogging @ blog-city, which the account I still hold for certain topics. Moved on to xanga, livejournal.. you name it, I have it. Come to think of it, my very first blogging account was with dairyland? An account I setup when I was still studying in TP. Haha.. didn’t like the idea of blogging back then, think it has collected layers of dust to date.

It striked upon me one day that I should have my own domain, main intention is to host my portfolio ( which, sad to say, I’ve not done anything about the portfolio YET ). My first step was to create a blog database, which was provided free by the hosting company. That was how sunshine.cloudie.net came about. For three years, being a lousy designer, I stuck with the piano theme, since it look simple and nice. The only minus point about it is, I had to manually convert chinese characters to unicode format before uploading.

Cut the story short. It’s getting pretty boring. =D

Anyway new theme, new layout. Removed some links, added nothing. The sunshine fits just so in-line with the orangy theme. Fits perfectly!

雨。。

就是那场雨, forced me to go home. Initially planned to study in school till dinner time, the rain came, the wind came. It got so cold, I decided to call it a day. Studied for only 1.5 hours, if you don’t include the 3 hrs spent on travelling. Wat a waste of precious time. =(

New Start

A brand new start. New database, new layout.

Just feel like starting all over again. And I really do mean that. Though it isn’t easy.. I shall try. I wanna pick myself up from where I’d fallen, to start a new life. We shall see how long my determination can last.

Met Qiyue on the way to school just now. Since I was already very late for lecture, decided to have lunch with him instead. lolx. It was great catching up with an old friend, though it was only a short encounter. ^^

Is it the heavy workload that causes me to get more distant from my friends? Sometimes I just feel too weary from whatever I had been doing, to just say a simple hi or to jio them out for a simple dinner. Great that Becks sms-ed me this morning, shall meet the rest for dinner next week! Early bday celebration. ;p

blisters..

The conference is finally over!!!!! I’m so glad that the busiest period of this semester is over at last. Finally can find some time to study and settle several personal issues. Saw some stuff that wasn’t meant for me to see, and because of that, my imagination ran too wild and I got so moody.

Anyway, does wearing heels solve the sprained-foot problem? My foot doesn’t hurt as much now compared to last night. The blisters now (due to the heels) are of more pain.. Let’s see how tomorrow is.. Hopefully it’ll get well and I don’t have to visit sinseh.

Am so dead tired now.. Having reached only 2 hours ago.. Shall sleep and maybe skip some lectures tomorrow .. Haha.. Since I won’t be able to wake up so early anyway.. LOL

suay arh!

Fell down while going up the stairs at the foyer of Nanyang Auditorium yesterday, and fell down within the auditorium just now. Both my legs are injured.. *sob* Gonna take MC and not appear for the event tomorrow.. ^^ I’m a handicapped!

Have not been blogging for 2 days. Let me do a recap..

Thursday
Spent the morning at home editing the map of the shuttle bus route for the conference. Met up with Rykel from Amway to discuss about the business plan. Rushed down to Temasek Poly after that for a Life After Graduation talk for the year 3s. Dominic & Hannah were there, Alan got the wrong date, and 3 other juniors from my course were there too. Out of the 6 of us, 2 are university graduates (overseas), 1 taking a degree from Laselle-Art & 2 studying Computer Science in NUS. Ya I’m the only one from NTU (again), the only person crazy enough to study engineering in university while the rest study software.. Went back to hall after that, to finish up the map, timeline for the conference, marketing interim report & SC207 project. That was the plan, but I only managed to finish the map. Was too tired to start the research for the interim report, which was supposed to be due on Friday morning.

Friday
(Suddenly I forgot what I did on Friday morning, had to sit in front of the laptop and think for 5minutes before I finally remembered)
Had Robot Soccer competition today. The last matches before the champion is finalised. Was in Robotics lab before 9am (ya.. I was early for once..). Was there to oversee the whole competition as the chairperson Lee Lim couldn’t take leave from work. The deliveryman for the conference door gifts was here, had to run down to the auditorium and see where they can be placed. Found an “office”, but was later told to shift all our stuff (Mineral water & other stuff that arrived later) to the room next door. And I fell while going up the stairs @ the auditorium foyer.. Left at 11.10am for a recee of the bus tour (for the conference). By the time it’s done, it was close to 2pm. Went back to robotics lab to catch the last match. At 2.45pm, I got called up by NTU’s Corporate Communications dept. I actually forgot I had to meet the people from Southwest CDC at 2.30! *oops* So well.. I went to meet them, left halfway for my GIP interview, and joined them until the meeting ended at 6.30pm..

And yes.. after that I went to watch Hall 15’s 1st production! A Glass of Desires is what it’s called. Consisted of 2 plays, the 1st one was kinda abstract. A bit hard to understand. The 2nd one was still ok.. But the ending wasn’t very clear-cut. Haha.. Not too bad lah.. Being our 1st production ever, I think it was a good job done!

By the time I reached back to hall, it was 11.30pm.. Was so tired (had headache and diarrhoea while watching the production) that I fell asleep the moment I changed out of my clothes.

Today
Was lucky to wake up early (I didn’t set any alarm the night before) enough to take a shower and meet Ying Jun (from SWCDC) @ Boon Lay. Had problems finding the participants as it was raining quite heavily, and it was unsheltered on the way to the shuttle bus pick-up point. It was only until 8.50am that we managed to find a group of them.

Back to school, I “took” the morning off from the conference to do the marketing research. Was halfway thru when I received a call from Phee saying it’s all done. Argh!! I felt so bad! Haven been contributing to this project at all! I’m not a freeloader! I’m feeling so stressed.. No one has been giving me the pressure, but I felt so overwhelmed with the huge pile of workload. Exams are in less than 2 months’ time. And I’ve yet started reading my notes, or rather, I’ve yet read my notes from the day I bought them. Gonna die..

Anyway, was stationed in our HQ the whole day. The event for today is supposed to end at 9pm. Had to go around making sure things are going smoothly. Was in the auditorium for the dry-run, when I slipped and fell AGAIN! This time, I think I sprained my foot and some more bruises in addition to those from yesterday’s fall. Walking with pain.. *sob* After so much running about, I’m staying put in HQ now. Hai.. really felt like I’m not doing anything at all..

So here I am now, at HQ ( it actually is a tutorial room ) doing nothing while the rest are at work..

movies~

Made it just in time. Just came back from a movie @ Suntec. Argh I can’t remember the title again lol! Keep forgetting.. But it’s starring Jim Carrey ( hmm.. dunno how to spell the name also.. *pengz* ). Not a bad show, a point to note is that the baby girl in the show is so cute!! lol~ After movie we went Carrefour walk for a while.. Met Lilim on the way to the bus stop. Been ages since I last saw her.. think that was like.. 4 yrs ago wheb we graduated from TP ? hmm.. She has already graduated from an Aussie uni.. 4got which one. Well.. haha.. I’m the only gal left in our class who’s still studying.. lol

packed week

There goes my plan to play badminton. Got called back to TP this Thursday. Mr Lee Leong asked a few of us to go back and give a “talk” on life after graduation. Was wondering why my batch don’t have such priviledge, then I realise I’m the pioneer batch.. Haha.. *blur*

too much mahjong

Just came back frm XW’s house. Whole afternoon was spent playing mahjong. ^^

Term break, but I’m still going school tomorrow morning.. Project discussion. Sianz..

Can’t think of anything else to update.. Except that the day was well spent at catching up with good old friends of 11 years? 😉

term break~!

Maybe I shouldn’t have agreed to be the Treasurer at all. Hai.. They appointed me ( with no experience ) and now they are complaining I’m slow. HELLO.. You all only know how to push the responsibility & blame lor! The Alumni will crash under your (multiple YOU) lead. Even SP is disappointed. How can we overthrow them ?!?!

Anger aside. It’s SATURDAY!! 1st day of the term break. Just woke up half an hour ago, and I was supposed to be at the Robotics lab to oversee the competition. *oops* Slept only at 5am, was rushing the conference website changes. Realised I’ve been editing the wrong codes only at 12midnight this morning. *sob*
