I had a wonderful Saturday!

Great meeting up with my uni khakis on Fri night! I think I gotta stop meeting them in groups! Seeing the lovey-dovey couples (was out with 9 other khakis, inclusive of 4 couples) made me feel so out of place lah =

But we still had a good laugh, with Yix’s “the other one” blending into the group within a short time. Photos will be up when they’re transferred out of my camera!

Woke up feeling groggy on Saturday morning. Quickly washed up and rushed out of house to meet L @ Bugis for lunch before proceeding to the toy shop, which was having a sale at 2pm. Ended up I was later than the arranged time, but slightly earlier than he was.

Just as the sale was about to start, we joined the queue and guess what.. I saw Bec’s hubby! Quickly called her to confirm and I was right! But bad timing. Baby Kate was asleep! Gosh I last saw her at my birthday bbq @ LW’s place last year! She has grown much over the past 6 months!

Got my Transformers toys! Photos will be up when I get them from L!

A supposed-movie afterwards (which we spent the whole afternoon trying to decide which movie to watch) ended up with a trip over to Aliwah Street to get L’s salsa shoes. LOL.. We were like tourists trying to find a place with a mini card-map in our hands. It started raining heavily just when we were about to reach the place -.- Almost drenched!

The rain dampened my mood lah.. Else could have walked back to Bugis!

Great Sat spent. Probably should start organising more bonding session with colleagues.

Got a msn msg from Eugene this morning, trying to arrange for a meet up over lunch today.

Looking back, first met this junior of mine in 2001, when he was one of my students from the CCNA class back at NHSS. So that makes me 6 yrs his senior. Wow.

The last I met him, and my other students from that batch of Cisco class, was during 2004 speech day. When they were fresh graduates of the school.

The image of him in my mind was of that 4 years ago.

Meeting him over lunch, we had a great talk. Minus-ing off him trying to sell his products of course. Great catching up with him and knowing how the rest are doing now.

I miss my juniors!

What I bought.. 3 pairs of Levis / Levis Signature jeans + Adidas duffel bag (items I wanted to get long ago) and a top from Forever 21 which I kinda bought on impulse. lol

I must have been in a super good mood when I was out with Leewei. =D Tired but happy.

A trip down to boss’s place @ Bishan this afternoon. Calista is so small in size! Being a 25day old baby, ya she almost hit the 29 Feb birthdate, she’s sooooo small! Maybe she takes after the mummy? The mummy’s quite petite from what I see.

Dropped by Junction8 after that. Caught 李圣杰 in action! Love one of his new songs! Forgot the title though.. hmm..

Enough fun this weekend. Time to rest and gear up for the week ahead!

I is having my long deserved break at last.

I’m feeling a lighter load on my shoulders right now. Seeing my “baby” 90% complete, and I’m ahead of schedule! – Ahead of schedule ‘coz the Project Manager didn’t update me on the latest timeline :S – So I’ve got another 2 days to do further testing and bug fixing =D

Finally met up with Leewei on Thurs night! Woohoo! Happy belated bday gal! A walk around Vivocity that night really made me feel like I’ve been living on the mountains. Serious.. it had been a long time since I went leisure walking, not to mention shopping! Finally cleared items off my wishlist!

It was 12midnight by the time I reached home.

Met up with the guys on Fri for lunch. Togi Korean Restaurant @ Mosque St. Yummy food. =D The mahjong session at Eric’s place was even better. Heh.. Very long since I last played with real mahjong, and the winnings was great even after splitting 50-50 with XW.

I must have been tired out. 10pm I was yawning like nobody’s business. Got knocked out by 11, waking up only at 10am this morning. For once I’m feeling so refreshed. Though not totally revitalised, the 11hr sleep helped.

Dinner with my SCE khakis today! Missed them so much! Korean food again *pengz* Why did they choose Korean BBQ when in the end we didn’t eat the food with the Korean spices? o.O It’s really great catching up with them!

Sunday now.. 12hrs later I’ll be on my way to my boss’s place. Calista Lui, that’s the baby daughter’s name, is having a baby shower session! Happy one month old Calista!

And she looks so sweet when she smiles! *melts*

Oops I’ve been gone for too long!

Been busy the whole week. Rushing a project which was originally tasked to 3 people, then to 2, now to one. And that’s me.

Was in office throughout the weekend. Plus late nights on Mon Tue & Wed. Been reaching home at 12midnight is starting to become a norm. =|

But I’ve no qualms about it. I love what I’m doing. Glad I’m given the opportunity to handle this project, to input my ideas. Also thankful for the opportunity to learn a new scripting language. =)

And so, I need my sleep now. I’m still available on msn though. SMS response will be slower. Time is too precious now =)

I almost freaked out when I had no internet access on Monday night.

Temporarily staying at uncle’s place while the whole family is enjoying themselves overseas at this moment.

I got so bored I sms-ed a colleague for entertainment. Though reluctantly, the colleague entertained me for a while. hahaha

Tuesday night was slightly better. Managed to hook on to the internet for a short while. The novels I got from the library deemed more interesting. It was a nice break from the internet world.

Tonight! I’m legally online! ‘Coz I found out where the modem/router is!

But then, I think I’m logging off in a short while. Would love another break from the internet world. =D
