Slight drizzle when I boarded the bus that goes to my office. Small rain when I alighted. Seeing that I should be able to reach the office building, I used the newspaper I had in my hand for shelter. Halfway across the road, *blim blom* cats & dogs appeared out of a sudden.

Oh shucks! I was thinking to myself. I wore white today! Yeah and I got all wet. If it had been another day, I would have been so happy to be drenched, I simply love the rain! But not when I’m on my way to work! =( It’s a gd thing that I wasn’t wearing jeans! Else I think it would have been worse!

got an sms frm bec this morning! She gave birth to a healthy baby girl Kate this morning! Welcome to this world gal! You’ll be in for the many love and care from your daddy, mummy, ah ma, ah gong and many loved ones!

gosh just what on earth is happening to me???

Incident 1

On my way home yesterday.. I remembered seeing the motorbike quite a distance away, and it wasn’t at a fast speed. So I crossed the road. Halfway through, the bike was just 10m away from me! gosh! I got scared out of my life and stopped immediately. Think I saw the bike waving left-right as the rider was deciding whether he should turn left or just go straight (of which he would have hit me if he chose to go straight). Thank God I was alright. But why was the rider riding so fast when it was a red light at the traffic junction??

Incident 2

The bus that I was on, was trying to go to the lane 3 from 4. Signaled,  but another vehicle from lane 2 jumped in.

Incident 3

Less than 5mins later, the same bus was on a merging lane. Being a non-driver, I still know the basics of driving on a merging lane. Seeing that it’s the bus’s turn to merge, the car (and I still remember the car plate number!) on the other merging lane increased its’ speed and closed up the gap.

Incident 4

Nvm, bus driver was patient =)
Then! I saw a MPV on the shoulder! (I know the rules.. no driving on the shoulder!) Less than 30secs, the MPV was >50m in front of the bus!

Incidents 2-4 happened on the PIE after BKE exit at 8.45am. It was slow traffic! But whatever happened to basic courtesy??

First day back to work. Decided to go back to ex-co when they asked me if I’m interested in joining them again. Why not, since I’m already familiar with the environment and procedures.

A 2-hr meeting early in the morning drained me off. LOL. It’s nice to see ex-colleagues again, though there’re only about <10 familiar faces now.

Mundane afternoon. Spent the remaining hours doing research on my own, on a new technology. Seriously it’s so tiring surfing net for information, that I kept dozing off.

At the end of the day, the recep brought this in to my table:

Since boss will be away for reservist till next week, I only managed to catch up with him via msn at night.

Boss: girl, need to get up to speed with your ASP okie. my engine will be your baby.
Me: asp or .net?
Boss: asp
Me: asp is ok for me, still fresh
Boss: good. get as much out of it as possible from M. No change yet, just know what it is and how it’s developed. (it’s an in-house application done years ago)
Me: I already briefly know how it works.
Boss: I got 2 words for u okie
Me: yes wat?
Boss: meticulous and comprehensive.
Me: o.O

It’s always nice to know you have an encouraging and motivating boss around!
