The Bright Sunshine

First day back to work. Decided to go back to ex-co when they asked me if I’m interested in joining them again. Why not, since I’m already familiar with the environment and procedures.

A 2-hr meeting early in the morning drained me off. LOL. It’s nice to see ex-colleagues again, though there’re only about <10 familiar faces now.

Mundane afternoon. Spent the remaining hours doing research on my own, on a new technology. Seriously it’s so tiring surfing net for information, that I kept dozing off.

At the end of the day, the recep brought this in to my table:

Since boss will be away for reservist till next week, I only managed to catch up with him via msn at night.

Boss: girl, need to get up to speed with your ASP okie. my engine will be your baby.
Me: asp or .net?
Boss: asp
Me: asp is ok for me, still fresh
Boss: good. get as much out of it as possible from M. No change yet, just know what it is and how it’s developed. (it’s an in-house application done years ago)
Me: I already briefly know how it works.
Boss: I got 2 words for u okie
Me: yes wat?
Boss: meticulous and comprehensive.
Me: o.O

It’s always nice to know you have an encouraging and motivating boss around!

A phrase from a story I watched just now. Nothing special from it, just thought of sharing =)

Keeping a positive outlook in life. A good way of self-motivating I’d say. One that helps to keep yourself going, irregardless of whatever challenges you may face. Admit your mistakes and you’ll be able to better-face yourself. Like a quote which I used to use: Experience is the name people give to mistakes. Learn from whatever mistakes you’d made. If you think that you’ve procrastinated for too long, get out of it. Start a new life all over again. Success doesn’t come with one try. It takes many falls before one really becomes successful in life, depending on which aspect of life you’re looking at.

Dedicated to my dearest friend K. I know life had not been smooth for the past one year, but bear in mind that fruitful days lie ahead. You’ll definitely succeed if you continue to work hard!

You should have figured out by now that I’m freelancing. And it’s never ending. They should get a full-time html-er to do the work. They can’t expect me to be on standby the whole day right? ><” Ridiculous.

Been on it for the whole day today, when I skipped office work as I woke up not feeling too well. Finally a break, and work has not ended.

How on earth do I find time to write my conference paper then?

Monday.

Just done with maple. PQ has killed me 3 times. LOL.  I shall not lead a pq pt anymore. NOOB.

Mayday concert was great!! Had a great workout! Kept jumping throughout the whole concert. FUN! Let’s all leave the earth! No special guests this time, Masa sang solo – Yellow and a song that he composed. Someone requesed Guanyou to sing solo for 1 phrase of a song. What else.. ahha.. I just love them!

After-effect: whole body aching today! ><”

As of now, my muscles are still aching. Especially the stomach muscles. It just shows that I need to get more athletic. Speaking of sports.. someone teach me how to swim!! Despite 4 yrs in ntu, my various swimming coaches gave up on teaching me. =(

Been mapling for too long. Shoulders aching!! boo!

Shall do a bit of blog surfing b4 I hit the pillow. Oh my bolster is having pimples all over its body. Time to throw it away!

Busy the whole day doing freelance, finally a sigh of relief when I sent the final set of files at 12am. 13hrs of work! From a set of 5 changes, increased to dunno how many. Changes just kept coming in. Spent my day in school SCR, enjoying the aircon while doing work. Hee!

Feeling dead tired. Aching shoulder!

Journal’s getting on fine, urgently needed is the conference paper, due Wed. Journal’s due end June. Sounds exciting when I hear that I get to present if my conference paper is selected. XD Though it’s free labour, it’s still an exciting process, especially when I’ve been procrastinating since day1. Good learning experience! Gambatte!

Encouragement given to continue with the experiments! Motivation!*that someone couldn’t remember seeing my name in the non-all-clear list*. woohoo! No guarantee, but a good motivation!

Oh by the way.. it’s confirmed that *that someone* doesn’t know that I’m talking about him. So interesting. =D

I’m tired. But I still want to play maple. It’s public holiday tomorrow after all.
