If this is what the graduated students did of their form teacher of 2 years, how good can the teacher be?

Had a fun time tonight!

The whole event started unofficially at 6pm at Jiawen’s house. Dinner was great! This is the first time I didn’t take any photos of the food. But the food are so nice 2dae! XD *yummy*

Games started at 7+ 8pm. Thanks to my 2 games-organisers for coming up with the games!

First up was “Finding the items”. Each group was given a list of items that they have to get, and report to the organisers when they’ve all the items in the list.

I think the list was a bit difficult.. ahhaa.. that the organisers had to call for time-out. There was a tie between 2 groups! While trying to build up the atmosphere, we had the losing group of the tie-breaker sing a song!

The awards! The most active Senior Citizen (Male) Award. The 老顽童 in the family!

The most Handsome Award. Lele walked up to Wanxin on his own while the rest were trying to vote. HAHAHAA

Because there was a tie again, the referee (me!) declared Tony’s group the winner. hahaha.. I’m being fair LOL! So the other group have to sing a song!!

While I’m now feeling hungry and tired, let me try to recall what I’ve done for the day.

Went Nan Hua to have a chat with the VP. Felt honoured to know that the VP still remember me! Asked him about some issues on a friend’s behalf, and he asked if the friend is my bf. *pengz* When I met up with Meili jie later on, she also asked if I’m attached. Wah.. I must have the words “I’m single” on my forehead le! 2 questions within 2 hours of each other! >< Shopped around Suntec alone after that. Wanted to get Royce chocolates for a friend, the queue was damn long! Got my D24 Gelato icecream and went ahead with my window shopping instead. Haven't been shopping alone for a long time. Felt great, being able to shop at my own pace while enjoying the icecream. Think I walked the whole Suntec thrice. LOL.. Kind of fun, though I was in the wrong attire. Can try doing it again next time, when the streets are less crowded. Feeling pretty stressed up actually.. I really need to work on my FYP. =(

An interesting bus ride

Was on the bus to JP. 2 teenage boys boarded after us, 1 in secondary school, the other I assume is still in primary school. Another young boy joined them at the next bus stop. Throughout the whole journey, all they were talking about, is computer games and the internet. All 3 of them wore specs. I couldn’t help but overhear their conversation. Which set me thinking, just what has the society became? Is there nothing else except the computer that can keep our people entertained? No doubt that the technology has improved over the years, kids are getting smarter, but what happened to their social life?

Too much of the computer is bad for health. Unless you’re in the IT industry, then you’ve got no choice unless you change job. Kids are wearing specs at a younger age than before. Pity them. I know all about wearing specs.. I hate wearing specs! lol. Thus I’m usually in contact lens whenever I’m out of house. Haha.. The world has become a place which is so unfamiliar to the one that I used to live in.

To-do list completed

Yeap finally cleared everything on the list! Next up is the xmas party, xmas gatherings and fyp!

Misc

Ahh I really mean it when I say I have invisible rashes lah! The rashes are no longer reddish.. but are still itchy! >< I don’t think it’s as serious as eczema lah.. touch wood!

Sian I’m starting to pop pills again. Been having diarrhoea for duno how many days le! Pray things will get better!

Had been raining non-stop for the past 2 days.. the sun is finally up today!! Whee!!!

Will I be able to complete my long-due to-do list today? lolx

A planned-bbq was cancelled at the last min, all thanks to the non-stop rain. Got so sian.. then D suggested we play indoor sports in the evening. Was busy until 7pm, and don’t feel like playing sports after dinner. So pai seh I flew him aeroplane. >< Almost time to embark on my journey for the day! And did I mention I'm having invisible rashes now? It's itching all over my hands! =(

I find myself so pro to be able to come up with this phrase! lolx! Shucks and my bro was laughing when he saw me typing! >< The statement was meant to encourage a friend who's feeling demoralised due to some issues. It may sound profound, but if we were to keep thinking how bad a thing is, we'll never get a good solution out of it. Why not spend the time thinking how to turn the situation to our benefit instead? =) Setbacks happen every now and then. Depending on the type. I used to have a friend K, whom we used to chat about every little things happening around us. Although we don't do that often, I thought it was a valuable friendship, someone who's there to provide some kind of opinions, someone who was able to understand how I feel. Until K left SGP for student exchange overseas. Since then, I seldom see K online in msn. I left a message in friendster but there wasn't any reply. We weren't very close friends, but I wanted to keep the friendship alive. Almost a year later, I heard from mutual friends that K is back in SGP. Probably due to me not being active in keeping in contact, K didn't attempt to contact me. I'm pretty fine with it, but thought it a waste to let a friendship die off just like that. It takes 2 hands to clap. Both parties have to put in effort to keep the friendship going, isn't it? It is this failed friendship that made me treasure my buddies more. Really glad to have my buddies around 24/7. Thanks for being there when I'm down XD. Am also glad to have a group of close friends from school, some of whom I'm able to share my inner thoughts with. Oh how can I miss out on LW?  I feel blessed! And I'm pretty sure that no matter what setbacks I'm currently facing in life, my buddies and friends will definitely be around to lend me support!

Feeling tired! While waiting for something from a fren, decided to watch Triumph In the Sky again. So I’m now having puffy eyes =( The 4 episodes tt I watched are so sad. haha.. typical of me to cry while watching sad scenes. Heng I’m watching in the middle of the night.. =X

I think I can finally go sleep! yay! Will be making dumplings tmr! xD
