Feels weird to realise that this is my last First-Day-Of-School! Unless I decide to step onto the school compound again.

Been a great day! Except that I had a 3-hour long lecture early in the morning. Within 45mins, I was already losing concentration. 15-30mins before the break, I was already happily playing games on Yix’s new handphone. Luckily I stopped early enough to hear the important words “these pages shall be skipped”. Haah! Bad choice to have a 3-hr long lecture. I wonder who’s the smart alec to plan such a schedule. Who on earth is able to concentrate for the full 3 hours? It’s not like it’s 3 1-hour lecture. It’s 3 continuous lecture of the same module! And I pity the lecturer, who was coughing non-stop during the 3hr lecture. >.< oh did I mention that this lecture is made up of not just CE (my course) & CS (Computing Sci) students, there are MASTERs students too! Why are MASTERs students taking the same module as us? Isn't it too easy for them since undergraduates are studying it? Or should I say, why are we undergraduates studying the same module as MASTERs students?!?! Isn't that too difficult for us?? The first day of school.. counting down to the last day of school?

been busy for the past 2 days.. going school to help supervise the cleaning of the hostel room, kopi session.. haha..

had such a severe headache this evening, that I couldn’t tahan the pain and went to sleep at 7pm without taking dinner. Woke up at 10pm, just nice dad came back and we had durians!

Gosh.. I can feel that my throat is staging a rebellion! Just pray it doesn’t get worse when sch reopens on Mon! I need to stay away from fried food, especially McDonalds & western food. =X

The motivation recently, is the craze over the currently-still-showing 《花樣少年少女》 (Hanazakarino Kimitachihe) starring Ella from SHE, 吳尊 (Wu Zun) & 汪東城 (Wang Dong Cheng) from 飛輪海 (Farenheit, the new Taiwanese group).

It is this show that kept me looking forward to the next day, as there’s only 1 episode each week. Quite an interesting show, kind-of gayish, but it’s comical.

Seriously can’t wait for the vcds to come to SG!

And yes.. I’m still up at this hour ‘coz I had been trying to install matlab onto my laptop. 3 unsuccessful tries! Each try took me 1 hour! hai..

Literally went around the west of Singapore this morning.

XW fetched me from home only at 1am. After picking Jkai & Jem up and sending XW’s gf home, we reached Bt Gombak for prata only at ard 1.50am. But the shop was closed!

A quick decision to go Bt Timah’s branch. So crowded that there are people waiting for tables.

Feng Seng was out as none of us wanted to eat Nasi Lemak. Decided on West Coast Park McDonalds. Parked the car, walked into Mac, couldn’t find vacant tables! And the beach is so crowded you won’t know it’s already 2+am!

The almost-devastated us decided to go West Coast Hawker for Wanton mee instead. But but but! The stall ain’t open! ><" Sianz.. decided on the safest place, Taman Jurong McDonalds! The most ulu place which few people will visit in the middle of the night. And we reached, 10 metres away from the McDonalds door, their lights went off!!! *stunned* Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. *phew* Power trip! wahhaha! Finally settled down at 2.30am. Halfway through our fries... the whole place blacked out again >.<" Apparently the place is well known for its frequent power trips. LOL!

Before the clock strikes 12.. sounds so cliché =

Anywayz.. Made the most daring decision in my whole life today. Was on my way home from tuition in the evening, and was about to cross the road when bus 975 came. Made an impromptu decision to hop on it. Had always been curious how Lim Chu Kang looks like, and I’ve been saying I wanna explore that area. haha.. And yes.. bus 975 goes that place. Took me an hour before the bus went back to CCK, including a short 5-10mins break at LCK Terminal. It was an eye-opener journey, seen SG in the 60s – 70s. Nurserys, vegetable farms .. Oh and I saw the LCK jetty! Almost wanted to run towards it, but was reminded of me being the alien there. Ya I said alien, ‘coz every1 kept looking at me throughout the journey, as though I was an alien from outer space! Was quite scared actually.. but I believed the driver will bring me back to CCK safely. XD

Felt so proud of myself, that I fulfilled one wish of mine. hahaa… There will be another time, definitely! You’ll never know how amazing any journeys can be.

One wish fulfilled for the year 2006. There’s more to go. Will year 2007 be a more enriching one? =)

Oh and I read in the magazine that 《恶作剧之吻 2》 cast remains the same! Woohoo! It will be on the marriage life of 江直树 and 袁湘琴. Let’s wait and hope to see a comical version of it? hee!

Edit at 11.30pm: Feels so weird to be spending the last hour of 2006 at home. And it’s worse off having to spend the minutes with a sore throat and a constant cough. =(

Seems like my entries recently are at the weird hours of the day. Doesn’t look too good as school is starting soon. Need to get back to my previous lifestyle!

Was out for KTV with Grouser & gang. Since I decided to cook dinner, I met them only at 9pm @ PartyWorld Orchard. My bus went past Paragon, and saw the gang outside. Was trying to send thoughts to them to look at my bus, but it seems like I need more practise on mind power. hahhaha! Fun time at KTV! Sang till I had no voice! How bad can it get? My throat was already feeling unwell days ago, it worsened after the KTV. *oops*

Supper at Coffee Club across the road. Decided to drink coffee ‘coz there wasn’t anything non-caffeine that I wanted to drink. (This is the main reason why I’m still awake now.One cup of coffee usually can last for about 10 hours for me. ><) The usual catch-up session ended at around 3am. Even though the few of us meet up quite often, today's turnout rate is the highest! Kudos to Grouser!! LOL.. Must give her credits lah.. since it is rare to have 8 people turning up for a KTV + supper session. *applause* Just added a few new albums into my computer. Nice songs! wahhaha! Can't wait for the album to reach SG! It's a must-buy! Argh! If I don't turn in any sooner, I'll be waking up only at 1pm later! It'd be such a waste to spend the Saturday morning! Especially when my to-do list has started to get longer again!

Got woken up by many smses this morning!

The first thing I did when I got out of bed at 1130am, was to snatch the PC from my bro and checked my results. 真是捏了一把冷汗！ If you remember my exam timetable, my papers are all within 1 week. 6 papers in 6 days. The kill-est semester I ever had in my whole NTU life. Though I didn’t perform very well, I’m glad that I managed to pass all my modules!! That also means that I’m no longer lagging behind schedule! Finally on par with my peers! Whee!!!

Just when I was in a hyper mood, I saw K’s comments in one of my entries. Be it someone informed him of that particular entry, or he’s another of my avid readers, I’m glad that he left a comment. At least I know that he’s still alive and is still interested in how this friend is surviving. Thanx! =D But still, I need to clarify. This is an open blog, where I blog about almost everything that ever happened in my life. When typing that entry, I actually had lots of thoughts going through my mind. The centre of attention of that issue wasn’t targeted at friend K. It just happened that the incident brought up was one of the many cases that I’ve seen, probably not all personally-encountered. keke..

Went out to watch Borat with JK & Jem. Quite a plot-less show to a certain extent, but I must admit that some parts are real funny! Had a nice laugh at the no-meaning-yet-hilarious scenes! Went arcade after that. Been a long time since I last stepped into one and actually play the games. Hee.. I’m starting to get hooked to playing the percussion game. So fun! Although I keep losing to JK, I’m improving! LOL!

I think Lady Luck has been shining on me recently. Been winning on the mahjong tables. Small wins, but it helped boost my confidence. Hahahhaha =X

5am. Time to finalise my timetable for next sem!

Not because I’m not tired. In contrast, I’m actually very very tired =(

Too scared to sleep. Results will be out today. I had my fair share of fun and work this sem. Whether I need to take additional modules next sem depends on the results. I have a bad feeling that I didn’t do well.

Did a good deed today! Returned a Sony Ericsson phone to the owner this morning! I can totally understand how it feels to lose a phone, especially when Grouser lost her phone twice this year. =X Being the nice skycloud, I returned it to the young kid who lost the phone. =)

Shun-bian meet Fen for breakfast @ BPP. Hahha.. knowing that she won’t reject my invitation unless she already has an appointment, I jio-ed her almost at the last min 😛 Had an interesting breakfast! Glad to have a friend to chat with! =]

After 3-4 long years, finally met up with CP, Cat & Lupin! Not including SF here coz I see her almost every week for revision. Hahha.. The C11C group didn’t have a class gathering for a long long long time! Wanted to get more people but the below-standard Liason Officer didn’t have everyone’s contact in her phone contact list. *oops* The gathering started with me & SF missing each other on the MRT (she alighted while I boarded the same train at the same station LOL). CP then called to say she’ll be late by half hour. Ah.. the 2 of us walked around VivoCity looking for GV. Tried to get tickets but only the first row seats were available! The queue was horrendous FYI.. Gonna book tickets the next time you want to watch movie at GV VivoCity. By the time we were out of the queue, CP has yet to arrive -_-“.

Since Vivo was overly crowded, the 3 of us decided to go somewhere else for dinner. While waiting for the still-having-hangover Cat to pick up our calls, I went to try on a dress which I KIV-ed with Fen the last time we went there. The design’s nice, but too bad I don’t have the correct figure to wear it =(

Everywhere’s crowded on a beautiful Christmas. Thankfully there wasn’t any heavy rain to dampen the Christmas mood! The train was still crowded when we left Vivo for Bugis at 4+pm. Yeah we decided to proceed to where Cat lives. Hahah! Met her at Sim Lim Square, while I buy my laptop harddisk. Getting a new one ‘coz the current one is getting squeaky!

Dinner was Sakae Sushi! Since CP is a vegetarian, Sakae @ Bugis was one of the few outlets that offer Vagetarian food. (Will upload the menu when my laptop is ready for usage.) Lupin joined us not long after. It was a good 2 hours of food and chat. I’m being labeled the pampered kid ‘coz I took only the red plates. Ahhhhhh no I’m not a pampered kid! I just know how to enjoy food! >< Walked around Bugis Junction with icecream on hand. The new Japanese Ice Cream which I've forgotten the name. The stall's everywhere around SG, green colour, and each icecream comes in a mini tub form, which are transformed to the cream-form that are than transferred onto the cones. Ah I have a bad sense of description! Ahhhh ... those were the days when the 5 of us would hang out at Bugis after school. I miss those carefree days =( And that.. ended the chapter on Xmas 2006. What will be the next chapter on? Quite a lengthy entry today. Been ages since I had such a happening day.. Does that mean my life's getting mundane? With the same old stuff day in and out? Sounds pathetic. But still, I shan't waste my life away this way! It is always at this time that I'd always come up with resolutions that I'd always say I'll try to follow. Since resolutions don't work every year, I shall give up on that idea. LOL After a long wait.. 1 week has finally gone by! The new episode is out! But there's 2 parts thus far, and there's 16 parts in total! Wah think I have to wait till Wed for the whole episode to be uplaoded? -_-" I've fallen in love with the male lead. Just so caring and sensitive. Is there such a person in real life? Wah this post was started at 11+pm, and completed at 2.45am. And I'm tired while waiting for part 3 of the show to be uploaded. *yawnz*
